2027 Tax Deadlines

The most important 2027 tax deadlines are April 15, 2027 for 2026 individual and C corporation returns, March 15, 2027 for S corporation and partnership returns, and February 1, 2027 for W-2s and 1099-NEC forms. Florida adds its own dates, such as the May 1 Sunbiz annual report and monthly sales tax due by the 20th. Palm Beach County adds local deadlines for property tax, tangible personal property, and business tax receipts.

Missing any one of these can mean penalties, interest, or a lost discount. This 2027 tax calendar from Tax USA, a local tax preparer in West Palm Beach, puts federal, Florida, and local dates in one place. Bookmark it and check it each month.

How to Use This Calendar

  • Dates apply to calendar-year filers.
  • When a deadline falls on a weekend or legal holiday, it usually moves to the next business day. The dates below already reflect that.
  • After a hurricane, the IRS often postpones deadlines for affected Florida counties. Check IRS disaster relief notices before you assume a date has passed.

Florida Sales Tax: The 1st and the 20th

Florida sales tax is due on the 1st and late after the 20th of the month after each period. If the 20th falls on a weekend or holiday, you have until the next business day. Electronic payments must start by 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on the business day before the 20th. You must file a return for every period, even with no sales. A late return carries a penalty of 10% of the tax, with a $50 minimum. Our guide to Florida sales tax deadlines and penalties covers the details.

Sunbiz Annual Report

Every Florida corporation and LLC files an annual report between January 1 and May 1. The fee is $138.75 for an LLC and $150 for a profit corporation. File one day late and a $400 late fee applies with no waiver. Learn more in our guide to Florida LLC annual report deadlines and requirements.
